Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In the year 2090, all conflicts in the world are being fought with massive war machines known as Wanzers. Huffman Island is the location where there is an Oceania Cooperative Union, (O.C.U.) is found. Huffman Island is only island where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) as well as the Unified Continental States are allowed to co-exist. The line of land that separates The United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is an area of intense tension.

An O.C.U. Platoon of reconnaissance under Captain Royd Clive was designated to investigate the U.C.S. munitions plant. They U.C.S. is able to ambush them. They are ambushed by U.C.S. The Wanzers. The incident triggers a series of events which plunges whole island into war. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

In the aftermath of being dismissed from the military Royd decides to explore the circumstances surrounding what happened to Karen. The search leads him closer as he gets closer to understanding the plot behind the event and the operatives who have orchestrated the incident.

Front Mission, with numerous characters and the mature plot, is the most strategic Japanese RPG that is available worldwide.
