Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In 2090, global conflicts are waged by giant war machinery known as Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only island where you can find the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) Huffman Island is the only location where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) as well as the Unified Continental States are allowed to live together. The land boundary between the United Continental States (U.C.S.) and Canada is a zone of significant tension.

A O.C.U. reconnaissance platoon led by Captain Royd Clive is assigned to examine the location of a U.C.S. munitions plant. They U.C.S. ambush them. They are ambushed by U.C.S. They are ambushed by Wanzers. This causes a chain of events that plunges all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Royd was discharged from army service, and sets off to learn what happened to Karen. The search leads him closer in the direction of the plot that led to the tragedy and the operatives who have orchestrated the incident.

Front Mission, with hundreds of characters and a well-developed storyline, is one of the finest tactical Japanese RPG available in the world.
